Tee Times, Hours of Operation, and Dress Code

Twosome/Fivesome Policy:
Please remember that if you have less than three (3) players in your group on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and other times of high traffic, the golf shop staff will reserve the right to pair you with another group in order to maintain the pace of play on the course.  You must remain with that group for the duration of the round and you may have to wait for another group to arrive to be paired with; so it's best to bring a threesome or foursome during these times.

Additionally, during times of high traffic on Weekends and Holidays fivesomes will only be permitted at the discretion of the golf shop staff.  This policy may change seasonally and the golf shop staff retains sole discretion to allow twosomes or fivesomes during these times if volume of play or weather permits.  Please ask when calling for a tee time.

You should always make a tee time for play at The Refuge.  You can of course give us a call by telephone or come by the golf shop and make a tee time in person.  However, we do have some guidelines to abide by, so keep the following in mind when you call:

General Public:
May reserve tee times
(a) in person up to 7 days in advance, or
(b) by phone up to 5 days in advance

Annual Pass Holders:
May reserve tee times up to ten (10) days in advance.

To reserve a tee time by phone:
Call us at 601-664-1414 (local in Jackson)

To reserve a tee time in person:
Come see us at 2100 Refuge Blvd. in Flowood
(On Airport Rd., 1 miles south of Lakeland Dr.)

Operating Hours/First Tee Times:
During the Spring, Summer, and early Fall, The Refuge does not open until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday mornings so that the maintenance staff can accomplish their goals without getting in the way of the golfers.  Each of the other days of the week, we will open at 7:00 a.m.  During the winter months, the golf shop opens at 7:30 M-F and 7:00 am Sat & Sun. Please call the golf shop to verify hours of business when making a tee time.

Proper Golf Attire:
Proper golf attire is required at The Refuge.  This includes no "cut-off" shorts, no metal spikes on shoes, and gentlemen are required to wear a shirt with a collar or a "golf specific" mock turtleneck.  No t-shirts will be allowed on the golf course proper.

A day at The Refuge is not just a day at a golf's an experience!
